Blake D. Kyzer, MHA - Operations Manager
Blake D. Kyzer, a native of South Carolina, graduated cum laude from the University Of South Carolina Darla Moore School Of Business with baccalaureates in marketing and finance. He earned a postgraduate degree in health administration from the University Of South Carolina Arnold School Of Public Health completing a residency and thesis on Interoperability in Healthcare.
As an administrative fellow with Palmetto Health in the Department of Medical Education and Research, he completed work governing resident FTE caps and CMS Non-hospital site payment for resident rotations (CMS Final Rule 1529-F). His work on adaptation and implementation of CMS Final Rule 1529-F was exhibited at the national level.
In October of 2007, he was named the Operations Manager of the Palmetto Health - USC School of Medicine Simulation Center. His primary objectives are on developing volume and cost evaluation models, developing research proposals, and serving as an ambassador for the Center.
Outside of professional engagements, he enjoys many outdoor activities including mountain bike and road bike racing, backpacking, and golf.
