Kim Bailey, NREMT-P - Simulation Specialist

Kimberly M. Bailey was born and raised in Syracuse, New York.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from her Emergency Medical Technician class in 1996 launching her career in the emergency medical field. Kimberly achieved NREMT-Paramedic status in 1997 and has enjoyed her active career in a large 911 service as a Paramedic Crew Leader for over 16 years.  

In 2010, Kimberly took the chance to expand her passion for learning and teaching by continuing her career in healthcare simulation technology and education. Kimberly became an Instructor in BLS, ACLS and PALS in 2008, NDLS Instructor in 2009 and a Simulation Specialist in 2010. Kimberly also currently serves as Training Center Coordinator for American Heart Association Activities at the Simulation Center.

Outside of professional engagements, Kimberly is married to Bradley S. Bailey and they have three children.  She is active in the community and has dedicated several years to the volunteer fire service. She received an award for Rookie of the Year in 1998. Kimberly served on the School Improvement Council for the Lexington/Richland Five School District and over the years has held many positions with Parent-Teacher Organizations to include President, Vice-President and Secretary.
